Frequently Asked Questions

Why do some of our freeze-dried bananas have a reddish color? 🍌

Great question! Bananas are a natural fruit, and their color can change during freeze-drying due to natural oxidation and other changes that occur as moisture is removed. This can sometimes create reddish or brownish tones on the surface of the banana.

Since we use real bananas with just one ingredient, variations in color are a natural possibility. The appearance alone doesn’t mean anything is wrong with the product.

Our bananas are freeze-dried to preserve their natural flavor and crunch, with no added preservatives or additives. Real fruit isn’t always perfectly uniform in color, and that’s part of working with nature!
